Notes From This Marketer’s Pen #6

Welcome back to another story from This Marketer’s Pen. In this piece, Canadian Rangeland Bison & Elk would first just like to take the time to comment on what a wonderful country we live in, how fortunate we are to live here, and how happy we were to celebrate this great nation this past July 1st.

Canada Day in Lacombe saw those in attendance treated to a variety of activities, such as the pancake breakfast, live music, free demonstrations, markets, the parade, and of course, fireworks to end the day’s festivities. The entire day was all about celebrating both Canada Day and community, and to show off some pride to being Canadian! After the flag raising and singing of our National Anthem, Lacombe Legion provided those in attendance with a delicious BBQ featuring Canadian Rangeland Bison Burgers. Canadian Rangeland Bison was delighted to be able to donate these bison burgers for a second year in a row in order to help Lacombe Legion make their fundraiser BBQ a success! Justin Cass, who is the coordinator for the Canada Day festivities for the past three years now, as well as on the Executive at the Legion, had this to say:

Leading up to the event (BBQ), people were already asking if we were getting the bison burgers again this year. During the BBQ, people were complimenting and enjoying the bison burgers. The Canada Day BBQ is an event we look forward to teaming up with Canadian Rangeland to showcase an amazing and healthy product. Donations from Canadian Rangeland helps advertise and makes our event a huge success.

Through events such as this one, the Lacombe Legion strives to preserve Remembrance, promote pride and peace, aid veterans and their dependents, assist those currently serving, and educate the youth of today to pave the way for a brighter future. As the Legion is a non-profit organization, all programs and activities are made possible by fundraisers, donations, and membership dues. In working with groups such as the Lacombe Legion, Canadian Rangeland Bison & Elk is happy to be able to help support local events such as the Canada Day BBQ and give back to the community. Plus, it provides a chance for us to get out of the office!

Thanks for reading. Until next time, stay bison strong.
