Welcome back to another edition of Notes from This Marketer’s Pen! In today’s blog, we are excited to share with you more news about what Canadian Rangeland Bison & Elk gets up to outside of the office, especially during these beautiful summer months! Throughout the month of June, Canadian Rangeland Bison & Elk will be working with Champion Petfoods (CPF) to bring CPF distributors from Germany, Turkey, and South Africa right to the heart of the Alberta prairies, to where the finished product begins!
Champion Petfoods, producers of Acana and Orijen pet food brands, and proud supporters of Canadian Rangeland Bison & Elk, have built their philosophy around what they call the Biologically Appropriate ConceptTM: “Mirror the richness, freshness and variety of meats that dogs and cats would naturally hunt in the wild and for which they are evolved to eat” (Champion Petfoods, 2015). The ingredients used are raised naturally, farmed or fished within Western Canada, and delivered fresh to CPF’s doorstep each day.
Providing these CPF distributors a chance to tour both our marketing company, as well as the ranch of one of our primary bison producers, will give these individuals direct experience with the where, and how, the animals used in the finished product are raised. They will be able to view the day to day activities of the bison and gain confidence in the fact that our bison are 100% hormone and antibiotic free. Canadian Rangeland is proud to be able to provide the opportunity for these individuals to connect with farmers, hear their story, and of course, breathe in some fresh prairie air! Both Canadian Rangeland and Champion Pet Foods believe in the importance of allowing customers to build trust in the natural goodness and flavor of bison meat, and it is the goal of these tours to do just that.
Thanks for reading. Until next time, stay bison strong.
