Producer Check List
Once you have signed and submitted the completed contract to Tara: (fax 403-843-2232) below lists further details on how to arrange delivery of your animals and required documents and procedures:
All producers bringing animals to the plant for harvest, should have been given a date on to which you are expected to bring the animals in (please cross reference your contract for the date)
All producers who have animals to bring in must make appointments with the plant for delivery.

All animal deliveries must be accompanied with a Signed Tag List.
Producers bringing animals for EU export, will also need to provide a completed copy of the Annex A-1. A download of this Annex is available online in the producer section of our webpage (above).
Payments will be issued after the HHW (yields & weights) have been received from Canadian Premium Meats (usually within 3 days).
Payments will only be issued providing that all required documentation has been returned to Canadian Rangeland (signed contract, signed tag list, annex “if applicable”)
Weight sheets will accompany all payments.
